Order's Prison

The Order's Prison is a world-map place with an official name and an official description: its location was a strictly-guarded secret, where the Order held dangerous warlocks and heretics and tortured them into confessing their crimes... and revealing forbidden knowledge. The same release records it as a hidden point of interest, so the map does not show its name before it is discovered, and the same release carries a rumor entry about it. The prison's interior door is locked and needs a dedicated key, the Bunch of Keys, which is consumed when the door is opened. Dedicated container loot scripts and interior rooms ship with the same release, but the interior layout, enemy composition and exact loot are not covered by the same-release source (documented gaps). No independent placement contract and no audited road with this place as an endpoint are recorded, so this article lists no roads.

Location and discovery
The Order's Prison is a place that appears on the world map by generation rules, with the official name and description below. It is placed by example position and is not at the same coordinates in every save; this site's map shows one example. The same release records it as a hidden point of interest: until the player actually discovers it, the map shows only the name of the surrounding terrain rather than the prison's name, so it is not marked from the start; the same release also carries a rumor entry about it, and once that rumor is learned the tile shows its name on the world map. See the map discovery article for how discovery, rumors and fog work. The prison's interior door is locked and needs a dedicated key, the Bunch of Keys, which is consumed when the door is opened; the same release's item text says it opens the doors of the Order's Prison. The same release ships interior rooms and dedicated container loot scripts: a skeleton, a chest, a bookcase and two weapon stands each have their own loot script, and the weapon-stand scripts list shields, polearms, bows and crossbows. The same release also has a rope object: using it with a rope in hand lets you lower the rope and descend into the Order's Prison cellar. The same release records no independent placement contract and no audited road with this place as an endpoint, so this article lists no roads. The actual interior layout, the enemy composition and the exact loot, and the reason the place is hidden are not closed by the same-release source (documented gaps); exactly where and under which conditions the key can be obtained is not closed either, and the same release does record a prison-related mercenary dialogue handing that key over (documented gap). Use the map and explored routes in your current save when planning.
