Deathstinger Infestation
Deathstinger Infestation is a request from New Orchard owner to deal with deathstingers. Clear the hives and deathstingers at the New Orchard, then return for the standard or reduced result.

Start the quest
01 Accept the New Orchard request
Find New Orchard owner at the New Orchard and accept the request to deal with the deathstingers. Acceptance starts the objectives including “Destroy the Hives”.

Clear the objectives
02 Clear the hives and deathstingers
The quest tracks “Destroy the Hives” and “Kill the Deathstingers” independently. You can handle them in either order; while the quest is active, clearing both prepares the “Return for the Reward” return objective.
The report dialogue also checks the clearing state by location: outside the New Orchard it uses the recorded cleared state, while inside it checks whether a hive remains at the site.

The report dialogue has two result tiers based on whether the orchard owner, a worker, or a guard was attacked before completion: no attack gives 1 Pails of Cider, 1 Daytaler Stew, 150 crowns and +150 base reputation input (positive global gain scaling applies); an attack gives 50 crowns and -50 base reputation input. The different dialogue entries for an active or not-yet-complete quest use these same two tiers.
03 Return to the New Orchard for the result
When the report dialogue is available, return to the New Orchard and speak with New Orchard owner. If deathstingers attacked the orchard owner, a worker, or a guard before completion, the lower result is used; otherwise the standard result is used. Both results complete the quest.
If you cleared the objectives before accepting the quest, or the quest is not complete yet, return to New Orchard owner and try the report; the dialogue still depends on your location and the recorded clearing state.

The New Orchard is besieged by deathstingers, which have built themselves a hive in the southern part of the garden. The owner asked for my help in dealing with them.
