Reputation and trading modifiers
Each settlement tracks its own reputation: six tiers affect trade favorability with its merchants, and settlement situations further modify contract reputation gains. This page summarises the verified tier tables and the contract reputation formula, and records unclosed values as gaps.

Tiers and trade modifiers
The table lists the six tiers and their trade favorability modifiers for the five settlements from same-release data. The modifier is one input to pricing; supply, demand, merchant parameters and other conditions still affect the final price.
| Tier | Osbrook | Mannshire | Denbrie | Rotten Willow | Brynn |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hatred | -25% | -25% | -25% | -25% | -25% |
| Resentment | -10% | -10% | -10% | -10% | -10% |
| INDIFFERENCE | +0% | +0% | +0% | +0% | +0% |
| Benevolence | +0% | +5% | +5% | +5% | +0% |
| Amity | +5% | +10% | +5% | +5% | +5% |
| Respect | +10% | +10% | +10% | +10% | +5% |
Contract reputation gain formula
The verified gain is the settlement modifier multiplied by player XP and the global percentage, rounded; only positive inputs receive the global percentage (the same formula is checked across quest scripts). Settlement situations add their modifier through an add-percent-then-multiply chain onto that multiplier; each situation's exact value is in its own article.
Links and boundaries
Crime status blocks some dialogue services and sleep checks (see rest and saving). Satellite and attached places have no reputation table of their own; whether they inherit their owning settlement's scope is not verified and is not asserted here.
Unverified values
The exact global percentage constant, base contract reputation values per dungeon type, the full list of gain paths and tier-up conditions are not yet closed in the same-release data and are not asserted here (documented gap).
