Forgotten Plane

Forgotten Plane is a quest involving Jurg, the carpenter in Osbrook. Recover the plane left on an abandoned cart and bring it to him. You can return it for payment or hand it over for information during the brewery-related conversation; these delivery paths have different rewards.

Starting the quest

01 Accept Jurg’s request

The formal request appears while questioning Jurg about Dwar and the brewery affair. First hear his account of Odar and Dwar and Odar’s story about the gang, without taking the branch where you assault Jurg. Ask about the information, offer to help recover his plane and agree to look for it.

This sensitive conversation is stopped on the tavern’s first floor. Although he asks you to return later, the implemented restriction checks the room, not a morning-only time window. If you found the plane first, you can return it directly: the ordinary return option checks possession of the item rather than completion of the formal request.

Finding and returning the plane

02 Find the Abandoned Cart

Jurg explains that a delivery cart broke down outside the village and the driver left his newly ordered plane behind when bringing back part of the cargo. Consult your current quest journal and map, find the abandoned cart and carry the plane back. The separate option to pay for information is not a fee for accepting this request.

The cart uses a road-encounter placement rule that searches for a free road position using the Drunken Woodsman Tavern area as its starting point. It has no universal coordinate for every save. The map link locates Osbrook; use your own exploration to find the quest location.

03 Recover the Plane

After finding the abandoned cart, take the plane and bring it to Osbrook. You must have the plane when handing it over. Even without accepting Jurg’s request first, you can enter the ordinary return conversation.

Delivery choices and rewards

04 Ordinary return

With the plane in your inventory, speak to Jurg and take the ordinary return option. This works whether you found it before or after accepting the request. Delivery removes the plane, completes the quest and grants the mead and crowns shown below.

05 Exchange for information

While carrying the plane, enter the negotiation for Jurg’s information about Dwar and offer the plane in exchange. This removes the plane, completes the quest and continues to the information conversation, without the mead and crowns from an ordinary return.

Later conversations and services

06 Discuss the brewery affair again

After an ordinary return, the relevant conversation recognizes that you brought the plane back and lets you ask about Dwar. Wording about asking for no reward in one translation does not undo the item reward already granted by the return script.

These benefits belong to a later brewery conversation, not to the automatic reward for returning the plane. After confronting Odar about his lie, discuss it with Jurg. He refuses this help if you have already taken the specific Odar settlement conversation that pays you and tells you to take the cart and horses. On the eligible branch, continue through the conversation and its farewell option to apply the service modifiers.

The condition tracks a particular dialogue branch, not a general rule that you must never accept money from Odar, nor a single assumed ending for the whole brewery quest. These are modifiers to this merchant’s parameters; other pricing rules still apply, so they are not universal final-price discounts.
