Jurg

Jurg is the carpenter in Osbrook. He offers trading, repairs and access to basic axe training. His missing plane was left on a cart outside the village, and his brewery-related conversations discuss the elder Odar and the former miller Dwar.

Location and availability

Jurg is associated with Osbrook; the map link locates the village. His character setup assigns carpentry work to morning and daytime activity, but this does not establish a complete opening schedule or availability in every story state. The sensitive conversation about Dwar is refused on the tavern’s first floor; ask him in a suitable location instead.

Trading, repairs and training

Buying depends on category, material, durability and other conditions; accepted categories are not a list of stock for sale. Repair capability and the basic axe-training entry are documented by his character setup and training dialogue. Consult the training interface for the available learning options and requirements.

Related quests

Forgotten Plane can start through his request for help, or you can return the item after finding it first. Jurg is also a dialogue contact in Fate of the Brewery; this does not make him its issuer or a regular dungeon-contract issuer.

Story-related service changes

These benefits belong to a later brewery conversation, not to the automatic reward for returning the plane. After confronting Odar about his lie, discuss it with Jurg. He refuses this help if you have already taken the specific Odar settlement conversation that pays you and tells you to take the cart and horses. On the eligible branch, continue through the conversation and its farewell option to apply the service modifiers.

The condition tracks a particular dialogue branch, not a general rule that you must never accept money from Odar, nor a single assumed ending for the whole brewery quest. These are modifiers to this merchant’s parameters; other pricing rules still apply, so they are not universal final-price discounts.

Background and views

Jurg criticizes the village’s security and its elder Odar. In his account, villagers had proposed Dwar as a candidate for elder before bandits killed Dwar’s family. Jurg suspects that Odar benefited and is reluctant to discuss it publicly. These accusations are his account in dialogue, rather than an omniscient confirmation of every claim.
